This is one of our most popular installations! You can have one or more desktop computers, as well as one or more wireless Laptop computers all online at the same time, with each acting independantly from all others. There is no additional cost on your monthly service fee when you have this kind of setup.

A note about Wireless Laptops: We often get calls about being able to pick up our signal, and the caller then thinks they don't need our equipment to get on. OnALot.com transmits from the top of towers using high powered equipment and big antennas. Laptops use small internal antennas and low power radios. As a result, you can hear us, but we usually can't hear you. Unless you live within 300' of the tower, you are going to need more equipment as shown below.

We install a Wireless Bridge Radio and a Wireless Router. All your computers are totally independant of each other. The advantage is that should one computer die or get a virus, it doesn't cause all your computers to go offline. Plus, each computer gets the maximum speed the system can deliver!

Desktop plus Wireless Laptop Installation	Installation includes a Wireless Radio, Wireless Router, antenna, and all necessary cabling	$300
Distance Installation	If you live more than 4 miles from one of our transmitters, you will probably need the High Gain Antenna. Some closer in situations may also need this option due to trees and other obstacles	$365
Ethernet Port	Each desktop computer must have an ethernet port. If your's isn't working or you don't have one, we can install one in your machine	$20

Method 2 - Low Cost

This type of installation has several requirements - no exceptions!

You must live within 1 mile of our transmitter
Your desktop computer must be a Standard Sized machine, no slim lines
Your desktop computer must be running Windows XP or Windows Vista
Your desktop computer has to be turned ON for the laptop to get the Internet

Low Cost Desktop + Wireless Laptop	We install a medium power PCI radio modem card in your desktop computer, and a Wireless Router plus cabling	$199
Ethernet Port	Each desktop computer must have an ethernet port. If your's isn't working or you don't have one, we can install one in your machine	$20
