System Upgrade Schedule
OnALot.com's policy has always been to add bandwidth to individual systems based on need. As our customer base grows, we add extra high speed data lines to accomodate the increased traffic on the system.
We have over 50 systems running in more than 20 cities, and while some only have a few customers, others have quite a few, and more customers = more data lines. We sometimes get phone calls asking if the system can go faster, so, we've decided to post our upgrade schedule on this page.
Data lines are quite expensive, so our schedule often reflects current and anticipated customer needs. The dates shown may change a bit, but the sequence of the upgrades should remain the same.
You should note that bandwidth is not necessarily speed. Bandwidth is the ability of the system to carry a quantity of data. More bandwidth = more customers run at higher rates of download. As we increase the system's bandwidth, the pages you call up will load faster.
Some of the cities in the City column are combined into one system and are shown as such. Here is our schedule:

Weleetka and North Weleetka will be restructured to share out the bandwidth more efficiently. Too many customers are currently bunched up on one system and need to be moved to others.
The Mounds and Beggs systems will be separated into two independant systems, each with a 6.0 megabit line sometime in July. Mounds will also have a 2nd system added to it at this time.
